Hello, we are Elastothane Ltd.

Our history, our capability, our service.

Our History

We have been around for over 20 years, with our formulations originating at Chemline Inc in the USA. For the first 10 years goods were stocked and imported to Holland, and then distributed throughout the EU. In 2008 when we opened a warehouse in the UK to meet the growing demands of the UK market, where the customer base had grown considerably following the appointment of Dan Mackman as UK Sales Manager. Within a few years of opening the UK warehouse, it made sense to close the Holland warehouse and centralise all EU operations in the UK, with several 40 foot containers being imported every month. The next few years saw rapid growth, stretching the warehouse to capacity and necessitating the need for quicker delivery of goods, sales and technical support. In 2016 the IP rights for all products transferred to the UK, enabling the start of manufacturing, and the beginning of a new chapter in the UK. Re-launching as Elastothane Ltd with Dan Mackman as owner and Managing Director, manufacturing started at a state of the art polyurethane facility in Warwickshire. With all formulas, raw material and suppliers remaining identical to the original US suppliers, the transit was seamless and saw meteoric success within months.
